Splashing About!

Howdy Fergals!

I expect you are all wondering where I have been, well during the heady days of summer I was mostly hiding from the sun, furry coats and hot weather just don't go together!  The mistress and I would go for a wander in the very early morning and then hide in the shade for the rest of the day, me panting and the mistress grumbling that it was too hot and how she wished Autumn would roll o.

I must say how pleased we all are that Autumn has finally arrived, it's a favourite in the 'bear' household.

One day in September I had a cool down with a lovely paddle in the river at Thetford, here are some photos of me getting a little soggy!

Just cooling my paws off.

Hey, let's go over here, it's a bit deeper.
Almost a full soaking!

Any one for a game of Pooh Sticks?

What a naughty bear I am, not blogging any posts last month!  I have been out and about so can share some photos with you now.  A few weeks ago we went to Redgrave and Lopham Fen.  I had to stay on my lead so I didn't disturb the wildlife but I still enjoyed the walk.
This is me with my master.

I love sticks, little sticks...

...big sticks...

yes, I really do love sticks!
My mistress said she knows another bear who loves sticks, his name is Winnie the Pooh, he sounds like my kind of bear.
If you would like to see some more photos of Redgrave and Lopham Fen pop over to my mistress' blog Kindred Dilettante Soul

Out and About

Hello Fergals

Apologies for not blogging for so long but that's the trouble when you don't have opposable thumbs you have to wait for some to be free to type for you!

I hope you have all been enjoying the sunny weather?  We are very lucky to live near lots of fields and be surrounded by lots of open space. My mistress and I have taken some lovely walks around the village and had lots of fun.  Here our a few of our favourite photos.

When can I do this...

Hello Fergals

Two posts in one day you are a lucky group of Fergals!  Just before Christmas my canine friend Buddy and I took the humans to Elveden Forest to see some Newfies at work.  I am dreaming of doing this one day...but I need to be a bit older and have a bit of training first but I'm sure I will be a natural!

It looks like lots of fun but obviously quite hard work as a few were taking part in a Newf's favourite past time, taking a nap!

Humans and Hats

Hi Fergals

I wanted to share a couple of photos related to this Christmas malarkey!  It seems ok to me, tasty food, presents, lots of hugs, visitors and outings but what is it with the silly headwear?  Anyway it has made me famous again as one of these photos was shown on TV...what can I say I'm a star in the making!!!  It was all quite exhausting and on New Year's Eve I crashed out on the fireplace, although I had to share MY space with two bears!

Reindeer Antlers or Santa Hat...I'll sleep on it!
I hope you had a great Christmas and have lots of nice plans for 2014.  The mistress keeps saying something about Snow... there was white on the ground this morning but apparently this was hail and not as much fun but it did taste good!

Don't forget to keep up with my posts this year, January and February are set to be particularly exciting for me!
